Dwarf Fortress Part 3 - Summer
1Dwarf Fortress is probably one of the most complex games you can play on a PC. Your job is to guide a group of Dwarfs in establishing a new settlement / fortress. It tracks many objects including their composition and quality and the personalities and wants and desires of your dwarfs. You designate where to dig and what build and what to grow. the the dwarfs with decide which of the jobs to do first, and if they become hungry or tired will stop working to eat or sleep.

In this video, I play through Summer. I build a trade depot and attempt to get it to be accessible to traders that will come in the fall, and I create a storage room for items that I'll be trading and receive as a result of trading. I complete the dining room, and we get some unexpected visitors that I then attempt to deal with.
