Part Synopsis: A young boy who left supplies behind is encountered. Aiden agrees to find the items for him. After a restart from getting stuck, the food is recovered. Meeting Kevin nearby, it's revealed his parents have since turned and he's feeding them to keep the two alive. Despite Aiden being fully transparent here, the kid doesn't budge and no other options are available afterwards. Going to the building that Damien mentioned, he's lured into a basement and attacked.

A retry is necessary due to the slow healing speed. Damien appears, insisting he was in the dark about this and was only doing so to save his brother. Aiden gives him the benefit of doubt, agreeing to look for the missing sibling. Finding Cliff totally fine, he ended up siding with his captors before setting his goons to attack. Cliff is then dealt with. Damien is distraught, threatening to end his life at the bazaar. Aiden talks him out of it, but shares the story with Roger who doesn't take kindly to the revelation whatsoever.

Playthrough Information: Having replayed Dying Light 1 not blind as requested by a viewer who I disclosed with prior I had already done the main game and Following DLC, I'm pleased to report Dying Light 2 will in comparison be fully new to me. I am playing on Normal difficulty. As with other open world titles on the channel, my intent is to cover the story-based quests and side-quests. Collectibles, challenges, general exploration and random searching I don't plan on including. I feel these activities aren't worth featuring due to them inflating the series length and not being vitally important. Future DLC will be judged on an individual basis, depending on the mechanics featured. Gameplay shown on PS5. Every video will feature commentary and webcam usage.

About Game: Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a 2022 action role-playing game developed and published by Techland. The sequel to Dying Light, the game was released on February 4, 2022. The game received generally favorable reviews, with praise directed at the combat, parkour system, and open world, but criticism for the story.

Gameplay: Dying Light 2: Stay Human is an action role-playing survival horror video game featuring a zombie apocalyptic-themed open world. Set after Dying Light, it stars a new protagonist named Aiden Caldwell, who has various parkour skills. Players can perform actions such as climbing ledges, sliding, leaping off from edges, and wall running to quickly navigate the city. The game is mostly melee-based with the majority of fighting using melee weapons. The game is set in the city of Villedor, a massive urban open world set in Europe that players can explore freely.

The map, which is four times bigger than the first game, is broken into seven distinct regions and each has its own landmarks and locations. When exploring the city, players can scavenge for scrap and resources to craft new items and weapons. Players meet different factions and have to make decisions that fundamentally change the state of the game's world and how non-playable characters view Aiden. The consequences are far-reaching, with the player being able to bring prosperity to a faction while completely destroying another settlement. Making certain decisions will open up or seal-off areas in the city, encouraging players to complete multiple playthroughs.

Setting: The 2014 zombie outbreak in Harran ended with the death of all of the city's citizens, with no reported survivors. The Global Relief Effort is able to develop a vaccine for the Harran Virus, ending the threat of the zombie pandemic. Despite promises to cease all research on the virus, the GRE continued experimenting on it in secret for military purposes. In 2021, a mutated variant of the virus escapes a GRE lab and starts a second pandemic that spreads faster than the first, sweeping across the world in an event called "The Fall". By 2036, fifteen years after the Fall, much of the world's population has been wiped out, human civilization has been reduced to a handful of scattered settlements, with the fictional walled European city of Villedor being one of the largest. The main protagonist Aiden Caldwell is a Pilgrim, an individual brave enough to make the dangerous trek between human settlements. He decides to travel to Villedor in order to search for his lost sister, Mia.

Release: The game was announced at E3 2018 during the Xbox press conference by Avellone as Dying Light 2. Square Enix distributes the game and provided marketing efforts in North America. On May 27, 2021, a digital event was held and a December 7, 2021 release date was revealed, alongside the game's title adding the subtitle of Stay Human. Techland promised to support the game with downloadable content and updates for at least five years after the game's launch. A New Game Plus mode was added in April 2022.
