Dying Light 2 - Ultimate Out-of-Bounds Experience mod (Works on 1.9.3p!)
5I would have uploaded this on Nexus Mods but the webpage hanged up every time I tried.
This mod makes it easier to go out-of-bounds in Dying Light 2. READ WAERNING BREFORE USE!
NOTE:- The free events may stop this mod from working, if this is so you will have to turn off WiFi (or go in "Offline Mode" if you can) and only play offline until the event(s) are over!!!
WARNING:- This mod isn't updated to v1.9.0p or above. You can still go out go out of bounds but you will have the storage and inventory imitations of v1.8.3c and below!
The mod does the following:
1) Gives you Infinite Stamina.
2) Makes you immune to Toxins forever.
3) Disables the "You're Leaving the Mission Area" UI when you go out-of-bounds.
4) Changes the time you get teleported back in bounds from 5 seconds to 999999 (AKA 11 days, 13 hours, 46 minutes and and 12 seconds). This also works for actual mission areas, not just out of bounds!
and just for fun....
5) Infinite Arrows/Bolts (They will still go down to 0 but you can still use them).
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Extract datax.pak out of the zip.
2) Drag the pak file into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source".
3) Rename the pak file to the next data value (so, for example if you already have data0.pak, data1.pak and data2.pak you would rename the pak file to data3.pak).
4) Launch the game.
HOW TO QUICKLY TEST IF IT WORKS:
Since some events can stop this mod from working temporarily, when testing turn off WiFi/Ethernet then launch the game. This will let you play the game without connecting to Techland's servers and inadvertently not enabling the event that's currently active. After doing that, load a save and try doing anything that uses stamina (Swimming is excluded from this), if it works then you should lose no stamina. If it doesn't work when launching the game up as normal then the mod isn't broken or bugged. It's just the event overriding the mod.
