This is Dysnomia, another doujin game developed by the people who made games like Magical Hop and Theremin, 2CCP. This game looks and plays sort of like Virtual On and a typical action game, but it has its innovations. The cast of characters is pretty small, but you can change their "type", which makes them fight differently depending on which one you select. The game has decent visuals and cool music. It's pretty cool, but the doujin game "Valforce" is a much more direct imitation of Virtual On. Enjoy.
