For a time, Kamui was easily one of the best Doujin games out there, and its still amongst the best years later. Being a Raystorm/Galatic Attack/Layered Section clone of sorts (but with arguably more challenging waves of enemies and greater destruction), your task is to blow up everything you can with lock-on lasers (for enemies below), a powerful Thunder shot for tough enemies, and your standard shot for a balance between attack and mobility.

The powerful Thunder Wave is perhaps your most useful ability, as it's incredibly powerful and has the added benefit of destroying enemy projectiles. However, you'll have to learn to use all three attacks well and often. You have a small wait time between attacks, so you can't just fire them off indefinitely. You also have health in the form of shields, so you won't die from a single attack. This is good because you'll need them. This game has so much on-screen action that the video's file size gets pretty large even when compressed a lot. Enjoy.
