Our home system has 3 great resources that are not in abundance on our home world, and to reach them we must lift off and sail across the sky to set up mining operations. Silicon we're alerady making from Stone but is much easier to refine from mined ore. Titanium will be needed in excess when we start building logistic stations, and Fire Ice offers a FANTASTIC shortcut to Graphene without the need of Sulfuric Acid, which generates Hydrogen to boot. So what are we waiting for? Let's get mining!
