From where we left off with the last Excursions: our Jumpstart Planet is a mess, mostly because I realized that I could get an achievement - so didn't pay a lot of attention to what I was doing. Now it's come back to bite us.
We caught our Red Science just before it started backing up. Researched a QoL upgrade then settled down to make proper inputs for decent Blue Science plus buildings. Slapped down a jumpstart mall to make: Mk I belts, Mk I sorters, and wind turbines. It's better than making them by hand.
Upgraded the oil refinery build, double the hydrogen please! Also buffered Blue and Red Science properly.
As always, power is a problem. Thank goodness for automating wind turbines.
Realized we were going to run out of ore for magnets soon, decided to tap another iron ore vein. Stuck a pin in it before connecting - had some sudden real-life stuff to deal with.
Time spent to date: 3h24m. Surprisingly fast for where I'd normally be in a new game. Would be further ahead if I'd done the Science properly from the beginning.
I suspect that spaghetti is coming soon - it's starting to look that way already.
