Eastern Exorcist Review // Pros, Cons, Length & Value // Eastern Exorcist Gameplay
Eastern Exorcist Review // Pros, Cons, Length & Value // Eastern Exorcist Gameplay: Eastern Exorcist is a brand new, combat focused, side scrolling adventure game from small indie team Wildfire Game. If you're looking for a challenging game with a heavy focus on combat mechanics, parrying, blocking, dodging at the exact right time & taking down incredible, demonic bosses one by one then Eastern Exorcist game should be right up your street!
In this Eastern Exorcist review I talk about the pros, cons, length & overall value of the game whilst showcasing some of the Eastern Exorcist gameplay I captured along the way. As a fan of games with a high difficulty curve (my all time favourites are Super Meat Boy & everything that FromSoft have released since Demons Souls) I came away from Eastern Exorcist pleasantly surprised by it's rewarding challenges, gorgeous art style, tight controls & engaging story but a word of warning, expect a challenge from Eastern Exorcist, these bosses won't go down without a fight!
Each frame of Eastern Exorcist was hand painted in a traditional chinese ink painting style & you'll see immediately from this Eastern Exorcist gameplay that the results are stunning. So not only is the combat smooth and rewarding but the game pulls it all off with an incredible amount of style & visual flair that is made even more impressive coming from a small development studio.
If you've picked up Eastern Exorcist yourself & are struggling with the Eastern Exorcist bosses I have a video up showing all of them being defeated & how I managed to finally take them down:
