In this video, I'm going to share with you the easy strategy that worked for me so you can successfully defeat Margit the Fell Omen boss fight with just a couple of tries in Elden Ring.

To do this we need to first get 2 essential things besides the best gear and weapons that you have available:

First of all, we are going to need to find our new best friend, the Jellyfish. If you missed it, you will need to go back to the Stormhill Shack, talk to the lovely lady nonstop until she gives it to you.
Second, we are going to get something to grant our weapon a magic affinity. After testing different affinities for my weapon, the magic was the one that resulted in the best damage output. I'm not a 100% sure if this is because of my character stats and the attribute scaling of my weapon, so I suggest you do a quick test as well to see if this works for you too. If you're going for a magic affinity weapon build you have a couple of options here, the first one is to head to the Seaside Ruins and make your way down to sea level, defeat the white walker and get yourself the Gravitas Ash of War. By equipping this ash of war you can add the magic affinity to any weapon. There is another option which is using a Magic Grease to get a stronger magic effect that is temporary, but deals a good chunk of damage, so, if you're going to use it I recommend saving it for the second half of the bosses life.

Once you have both of these things is time to fight. Summon Mrs. Jellyfish to battle and she'll steadily attack from the distance while you face Margit. The key here is keeping him busy so Mrs. Jelly can do her thing and poison Margit. I hadn't figured out all of the correct keyframes to dodge every attack by the time I defeated Margit, so the Brass Shield helped a lot to block most of the incoming damage and use Guard Counters to counter-attack, at least enough to let Mrs. Jelly do her thing and grab Margit's attention so I could then attack from behind with charged attacks for a good amount of damage. I used the partisan here as it gives me a similar attack range as his club, and makes dodging easier by being a little bit far away. Just keep an eye on your flasks and Mrs. Jelly, and the more you become familiar with his moves the easier this fight will get and you'll eventually defeat him.
