May come as a surprise but up to this point this has actually the hardest fight on the challenge. I’ve noticed throughout the time fighting him that the tree sentinel is very positional based on what attacks he’ll decide to do. But above all, the one attack that would also get me and mess me up the most was the horse bash he does in between combos. I could never tell when he’d decide to use it so I had either wait until I was sure he was at the end of his combos or just go for guard countering different types of attacks entirely. I also learned that there is a LOT of blind spots if you’re standing directly in front of him lol. So many attacks would go over my head and I’d attack intuitively thinking he’d hit my weapon when he didn’t

Basic Challenge Rules
- I can only attack the boss off of a Guard Counter. No normal attacks, melee or magic or consumables are allowed
- An exception is that I am allowing myself to riposte a boss if they are poise broken. The poise break is a reward for consistent Guard Counters so I feel I should take the free damage
