This is intended to demonstrate mission three can be done quickly if you want to.

I just thought it might be worth seeing how quick the Crimson Triumph mission "Sidewinder Face Off" can be done. This is the one which caused some dismay about ship control and gameplay when it took a total novice 16m to fail. First I am not making fun of the 16m version, it took me half an hour to shoot a half dozen barrels first mission. The fact it is done quicker here shows how there is a learning curve and how improving your tactics and control device can make a significant difference. (Joystick Thrustmaster T.16000.M).

Also the tactics used demonstrate gameplay. So tactics were first deploy hard points ready to fire, second increase weapon energy routing by two notches, engines left at zero shield recharge negligible, rotate so pitch aligns to targets direction of travel, then acquire target using targeting hotkey, point and shoot. Note this is a straight up ambush with alpha strike maxed, its a whole different ballgame when you have to evade and take on multiple opponents, since you need those engines and shields, so you cannot maintain the high rate of fire due to laser overheating.
