One objective for Distant Worlds 2 is to build a space station at the center of the galaxy near Sagittarius A. The first part of this project begins with the community goal in the Omega Nebula. This CG is mining focused, and will collect the materials needed to construct the station.

The second part of the project will begin sometime later and will contain a community goal to outfit the space station.
