Hi everyone, a CMDR on the EDHM discord asked if it's possible to apply the shiny effect to paintjobs other than Chromed and Golden (please see my previous video https://youtu.be/5z27kiiAfI8)

Well, the answer is Yes, plus there's also a method of adjusting the level of reflectivity from 0 (matte) to 1 (maximum reflections). Hopefully I can release the mod one day so you can experiment with it.

Just to reiterate:

- the mod doesn't give access to paintjobs you don't own
- colours can't be changed
- all it does is reduce the matte paint and apply a reflective effect
- it doesn't touch the game files at all
- the mod is client-side only, so other players won't see the shiny effect on your ship
- it looks awesome, and makes me want to buy more paintjobs :) so I hope FDev will say it's ok when they get back from holidays

This video is a comparison of the Azure paintjob that many of us received for free. You'll notice how much it differs between Horizons and Odyssey, and then you'll see the Ody version with the Shiny mod
