I decided to upgrade the two pulse lasers on my Federal Corvette. I was prepared to use the new 'pay for special effects with reputation' mechanic for both. It turned out that my second roll just happened to be lucky enough to get a special effect!

After that video is another showing an Elite Anaconda that decided to interdict me just before I reached my 'home' system. I'm by no means a great combat pilot, but I did manage to take him out without loosing my (also modified) shields. Even though the system authorities showed up to help.
