In this video, we’ll analyze insights from HCL, TCS, and Infosys quarterly results using structured communication principles. Through this video, you’ll learn how to communicate efficiently and effectively with your manager or during interviews. I’ve divided, the insights into three parts, and with each insight, I’ll share with you the structure I’m using to express it. Structured communication techniques shown in this video, will help you a lot in communicating your thoughts effectively.
TCS has declared that its net headcount has come down from 6,16,000 to 6,13,000. Infosys has declared that its headcount numbers have increased. But the utilization of employees excluding freshers has come down to 81%. This tells us that utilization is going down and the number of people on the bench is increasing. This means that recruitment is going to slow down. Once you understand the structure used here, it will help you in your job interview conversation as well.
You can observe the structure that I’ve used in the above insight. I talked about the headline, then I gave some data points, and lastly, I’ve addressed what is in it for you and me. So in this way, I’m addressing why, what, and how, all these three things while expressing this insight. Structured communication training is necessary to understand how to talk to your manager. If you’re wondering how to improve communication skills, then this video will help you a lot. This communication skills training video in English is designed for working professionals as well as job aspirants.
The second insight is about industries where these three companies are struggling to grow. All these companies are facing trouble in the BFSI sector. Small IT companies and insurance companies are running for efficiency and trying to consolidate their vendors. So, there is trouble not only for these big companies but also for the small IT companies. The job market is not doing very well, and it is even more important for banking, insurance, mortgage, and so on. The traditional sectors such as utilities and pharma are doing well. Job conversation in English can be a lot easier if you use a structured approach in framing answers.
We analyze this insight by talking about the sectors that are going through trouble. Then we compared it with the data that we have available. Then we analyzed what is in it for you and me. If you’re looking for a job then BFSI doesn’t look like a good option but some other sectors like energy and utilities are going well. Hope you’re understanding the structure. Job interview in English for freshers is a very daunting proposition. But if you use this structured approach, you can easily develop structured thinking and communication skills.
In the third insight, I’ve talked about the buzzing services that these guys are talking about. Such as cloud, digital transformation, and such. These are one of the few places where these companies have seen revenue growth. In the last analysis, I’ve not talked about numbers. Because here I’ve focused on the qualitative aspects coming from the speeches of TCS, Infosys, and HCL CXOs.
You don’t always have to rely on numbers to support your analysis. But if you’re someone trying to grow quickly in your career then fields such as cloud and digital transformations are a good bet. Developing communication skills in English can become easier if you focus on structured communication.
