TCS has announced its quarterly results recently. In this video, I’ve done the TCS Q3 performance analysis from a career perspective. The attrition rate at TCS has dropped and the whole IT industry is experiencing a slowdown currently. TCS Q3 results 2023 and subsequent speeches by the COO, CEO, and CHRO, give us insight into what projects TCS is currently working on and where you can expect the most growth in the future.
On multiple occasions, you’ll hear TCS COO talking about business in cloud services. If you are an IT professional then getting that extra cloud certification can help you get a job in TCS or a similar big IT services company in the future. Similarly, TCS is working on cost transformation projects for its clients as well. Digital and business transformations are the sectors in which you can work to become a part of a growing segment.
Earlier the companies based in the US used to outsource separately for different IT needs but now they are outsourcing all their IT requirements to only one company. J.P. Morgan has expressed in its report that the IT business in India is going to slow down in the future. The decreasing attrition rate suggests that professionals are sticking to their jobs and because of the looming fear of recession in the US and European markets, TCS clients are not very open to spending good money.
This might not be the best time to change jobs. TCS Q3 analysis suggests that you should not change jobs right now but the buzzing sectors such as cloud and business transformation can offer you great career options. TCS results today show growth but the volatility in the market should prompt you not to hurry to change your job. Gather the right skillsets in a rewarding domain and wait for the right time to change your job.
