Pretty cool mech shooting game from Taito which, unsurprisingly, feels a bit like Operation Thunderbolt crossed with Battle Tech.

You've got a chaingun, plasma cannon, and a whole load of bad guys between you and victory. Shoot the enemy before they shoot you, and be sure to shoot down the transporters carrying any prisoners; just be sure NOT to shoot the prisoners themselves, else you'll forfeit the power-up token they were carrying. Power-ups include unlimited plasma cannon charge, extra speed, or an overshield to protect you from damage.

Overall, I quite enjoyed Enforce; the graphics are good and the music, something that sometimes felt a little lacking in arcade games, is great. The 7 levels provide a pretty stiff challenge, so there's plenty to get your teeth into.
