Escape Velocity is a returning Light Weight Frame Submachine Gun to Destiny 2 Season of The Worthy. Escape Velocity is a Dead Orbit Submachine Gun, so it does have that gothic black look to it, pretty cool. Escape Velocity is an open world drop, meaning you can only find it by opening a legendary engram or a faction rank up package, that is the only way - just incase you were asking how to get Escape Velocity. Escape Velocity can roll with some great perks for both pve and pvp, some perks that actually make recluse look like a chump. Recluse is always going to be great, I dont think bungie is going to nerf it into the ground just so other Submachine guns can rise to the top. What I think Destiny is going to do is give weapons some special possible rolls like what Escape Velocity can do. Escape Velocity is currently the only Submachine gun that can roll with Overflow. Overflow is an amazing pve perk to have, you'll instantly reload and overflow your magazine on picking up special or heavy ammo. Escape Velocity can also roll with surround. Combining these two perks means you have a close quarters killer with a huge mag and hopefully zero reloading.

My Escape Velocity God roll for pve is the IS 2 Classic scope, Steady Rounds, Overflow and Surrounded. My Escape Velocity God Roll for pvp would be the Model 6 Loop scope, Stead Rounds again (console player), Zen Moment and Quickdraw. The combination of Quickdraw, Zen Moment and overall high handling will allow Escape Velocity to get the opening attack and stay on target, ensuring you win that gun fight and stay alive. The Recluse is always also going to be a great pvp weapon, but if you don't have it or want to use something else in your energy slot, Escape Velocity is perfect because its a primary/Kinetic Submachine Gun. the PvE roll lets you play aggressively and push through adds as long as you have special ammo nearby
in PvP this gun is definitely suited best to be paired with a shotgun, put a freehand grip mod on it and after you fire your shotty, you can quickly switch to it and mow people down without having to ads
