TL;DR - dock ring right on the beacon, athanor facing the outgate.

Basically, you will need a character with either the "station manager" role (station services not general role), or a director, or a CEO.
that allows you to 'launch for corporation' and not just 'jettison' the upwell structure.
The upwell's volume is usually 8000m³ and you don't need anything else beyond that for the first 24hrs.

If you anchor an athanor in this manner the default warp-in point 10km inside tether range, from the field, with the option to vary the distance. I used to think this was a bad idea because it gave your enemy the ability to use it as well to land on you. But, giving much thought to the matter if you're scared of getting your booster pointed because the burst activation duration is still active - warp that ship to a deepSS or another structure far far away that gives tether. When you get down to it, hoping the enemy doesn't point you before then is...well, silly.

the field, if you didn't know, is typically too close to the athanor's dock ring to be able to warp easily back and forth from the upwell directly...so having the upwell undock aligned to the moon is a really bad idea...always have it pointing at least 90 degrees away. if that means you're not aligning the undock in the direction of your preferred outgate/npc station/friendly upwell, then so be it.

uhm...that's pretty much it as far as anchoring an athanor on a moon beacon. after the 24hr timer there is a 15min vulnerability period where anyone can blow it up (in low sec; in high sec it's just annoying unless you're at war*) so i really don't recommend anchoring in low sec unless you have really nice friends who do their talking with their guns.

there aren't many opportunities to make athanor placement aesthetic, unless you don't intend to moon mine.

* - There is a loophole where you can instantly transfer a structure after it's anchored/fit to a corp/alliance in a war (and transfer out? i dunno about that)
