Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - The Mourning Tree [Woodwind cover]
I tend to say this often about music I love, but Jessica Curry's choir-centric score to "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" is truly, devastatingly beautiful. It didn't go unnoticed, either, winning a BAFTA and a slew of other awards in the year it's been out. If you haven't heard it, I implore you to pick this one up.
I've had this cover's WIP on my drive for about 7 months, since it falls under the category of "if I try to touch this soundtrack I'll ruin everything" and that's intimidating. But, like the other covers on my channel, I decided to finish it anyway. :)
This melody appears in various pieces of the OST. My approach for this track was "it didn't have woodwinds in it and now it does", haha.
Triple meter in minor is my weakness...
