About this video: The crafter is a brand new block that was just added to Minecraft 1.21. This block allows you to automate crafting in Minecraft using some hoppers and redstone. It is going to be insane to see what is built with these. You can now build factories in Minecraft using the crafter that actually generate new items based on the raw materials you put in!
You can get a crafter with iron, a dispenser, crafting table, and redstone. The crafter block can the be placed down. Placing a hopper in front of it and top of it can automatically have things fed into the hopper using it.
You will need to add initial materials into the crafter and block out any slots you don’t want to use. This is really easy when you open the crafter, just click the slots you don’t want to use and add the materials into the slots you do want to use.
From there, you can setup a redstone signal to the crafter. I’d recommend a redstone clock that has a decent amount of time on it in order to allow things to refill in your crafter. Once the signal activates the crafter, it will crafter the item. This can be anything you can normally craft in a crafting table.
And there you have it! That is a basic overview of the crafter in Minecraft. What did we miss? Let us know it the comments, and feel free to share ideas you have for the Minecraft crafter block once Minecraft 1.21 is released!
