About this video: In Minecraft 1.21, Trial Chambers were added. There are two variants of Trial Chambers - normal Trial Chambers and Ominous Trial Chambers. In order to get an Ominous Trial Chamber, you will need the Bad Omen effect.
The Bad Omen effect can be acquired by drinking an Ominous Bottle Potion. So, with that, this video also shows you how to find an Ominous Bottle in Minecraft. When you enter a Trial Chamber or a village with the Bad Omen effect, it will turn into the Trial Omen or Village Omen effect either creating an Ominous Trial Chamber or starting a Village Raid.
So, how do you get the Bad Omen effect in Minecraft? Well, there are two primary ways.
The first is by killing an illager caption. The easiest way to find an illager captain is a pillager outpost. The captains carry banners making them easy to spot. They will respawn as you kill them as well make this a great way to stock up on potions. You can get different levels of Ominous Bottles when killing them.
Another way to get the ominous potion is from the trial vaults themselves. Trial chambers will give ominous potions as a reward on occasion. Normal trial chambers have an 18.6% chance of rewarding an ominous bottle whereas ominous trial chambers have a 13.4% chance. This is great if you plan on doing normal Trial Chambers before complete Ominous ones.
Once you have an ominous bottle from a illiager captain or Trial Chamber, you can drink it to get the bad omen effect and enter a trial chamber in order for it to become an ominous trial chamber or a village to trigger a raid.
This is now one of the coolest effects/potions in Minecraft in my opinion as it adds in so much to the game in regards to mechanics and things you can do.
