Evolution of Genesis Classics - The History of Sonic the Hedgehog Prototypes (Sonic 1-3 & Knuckles)
When SEGA created Sonic the Hedgehog, they knew they had a successful series on their hands, and both of it's sequels improved the formula and helped establish the character as a gaming icon. In spite of the quality of these three games, all of them faced many challenges during their creation, which have been efficiently documented in the numerous pre-release prototype builds of the games that have been found and dumped. And today, we'll be looking at all of em, from Sonic 1 to Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
