This is a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the Famicom Disk System game Exciting Basket. The game is better known though for it's NES counterpart: Double Dribble.

While this does sort of seem more like a playthrough, you can take note of what I do each time they get the ball back. Have your character walk towards their end of the court and then when you know where the ball is being thrown, make a dive for the person who will have the ball so you can quickly steal it away from them. So there you go...There's your walkthrough bit of info for the game...Muhahahaha!

There are a few differences between this and Double Dribble, most notably the fact that this game has music that plays during the game. This game, however, doesn't have that flashy dunking sequence that Double Dribble has. But even without that, I have to say this game actually seemed more exciting. :P

I want to say that the half time music is actually better in this version. I should note that I have no idea what the mascot for the team I picked was supposed to be...I have a few ideas, but something tells me I'd be dead wrong (I doubt they'd ever let what I'm thinking be a team mascot....)

Again, I thought this game was actually more exciting (hence the name of the game) than Double Dribble. I even beat my old score by actually reaching 100 points! How freaking exciting is that!?!? I could have easily gotten that score if I raised the time limit to more than just 5 minutes a quarter, so I thought I did rather well this time around.....I also figured you would get the idea of the game just fine with 5 minutes, as opposed to say, 20 minutes per quarter....
