It's hard to catch up on Frontrunning Skip Users. One method to deal with it is to make use of the largest distance between you and the leading racer and to wait until they land. That is the moment to make the most out of your Skyway.
Activate the Super Boost right before they get grabbed an repositioned by the machine. The Mini-map is showing the position of the players using the Skip. Keep an eye out for them when you notice them jumping to the right and then track their position on the map.
This will increase your Super Boost duration to the max, even when their distance before the Skip was less than 3 or 2 seconds. That short amount of time they spend on the other side can be used to the player's advantage

Keep in mind that this doesn't necessarily mean you will win a race with the use of one Skyway. Experienced Skip users can repeat perfect Skips with an ease, fighting their way back to the top position.
What you have to do then is apply as much pressure as possible and force them to either deal damage or make mistakes by cutting them off, bumping them or taking away lines and spots that would make avoiding nearby Bumpers more manageable
