You can hit Grey Bumpers while slightly being angled to gain a Mini-Boost from bumping

When landing from a jump a Spinning Attack right in front of a Grey Bumper is recommended to gain a Mini-Boost

Death Wind I has a lot of Grey Bumpers on Straights. I imagine this could be a good place to make use of that while being in the lead of the pack when you have a bit energy to spare

The touch of the Red Bumper needs more inspection. I have a feeling that there is a certain spot at a certain angle you can hit without taking damage, possibly there's several levels of damage you can take from a Red Bumper. So far I could make out 4, with taking either no hit, losing a tiny bit of health (as you would from bumping a Grey Bumper), a good amount of damage (2nd highest in the game) and one worth a Fire Stingray Boost, speaking from the point of view of a Fire Stingray. Taken damage might differ depending on the glider you are using
