39this ship is weird. it is one of the better ships overall since it's almost tied for the 3rd best ship in the game among the pilot ships due to high top speeds, good booster and speed retention but the handling it has is very weird and in the difficult way. like Fat Shark and Black Bull, you need to be a master of this game to handle this ship well and it has many specific quirks that are unique to it due to the ship's shape. it is a glass cannon which means it can die easily if things go wrong and if, for some reason, you don't get ahead of the pack, it's really risky to pass the other ships since even a tiny bump costs a considerable amount of energy. overall it's a really high maintenance ship that's not recommendable to beginners despite how good it is. odds are that most people will struggle with it when they could win with other ships with less effort.
i'm playing using the Wii U GC Adapter and an original GC controller. i also have an input display to show what i do during gameplay. the input display also comes with a function to change sensitivity and that lets me get around the sensitivity problem present in this version. it feels much closer to the original. there's still the input lag but it's more manageable.
