F1 2024 Monaco GP Qualifying Data Analysis What Did We Learn

Qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix is over and Charles Leclerc converts his practice performance into qualifying as he takes his first pole position of the season and is looking to win his first grand prix since 2022. He was able to just beat Oscar Piastri in the Mclaren who will be lining up alongside him with Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz in third place and Lando Norris in 4th place in the other Mclaren. Max Verstappen in the Red Bull is starting down the order in 6th place after a difficult day as Red Bull don't have the pace on this street circuit. Teammate Sergio Perez was struggling so much that he went out in Q1 and will be starting towards the back of the grid.
Aston Martin had another difficult day as well as Fernando Alonso went out in Q1 and teammate Lance Stroll went out in Q2, they are behind the VCARB cars as VCARB continue to improve especially with Yuki Tsunoda.
For Mercedes it was a great day for George Russell as he beat Max Verstappen but teammate Lewis Hamilton had a bit more of a difficult day as he was beaten by both Max and his teammate.
