F1 2024 Monaco GP Practice Data Analysis - What Did We Learn

Practice in Monaco is over and the fastest driver of the day was Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari as they are looking incredibly hooked up and fast around this circuit, behind Leclerc it was Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes as Max Verstappen was only 4th in the Red Bull but Red Bull definitely had things turned down more than their rivals. Teammate Sergio Perez was down in the lower parts of the top 10 and Red Bull have work to do with the balance.
Monaco is all about confidence in the car and the driver can make a bigger difference, that was clear with Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin finishing the day in 3rd place and Yuki Tsunoda in the VCARB was looking very strong once again. Carlos Sainz and George Russell have got work to do if they want to be where their teammates finished the day and Oscar Piastri who was 2nd fastest in FP1 was way down the order in FP2 showing that he has work to do for qualifying.
