You are the face of gamers everywhere. I say you because I mean it in a general everyone is in this together loving family kind of way. I don't say we because gamers seem to have a hard time working together when it comes to goals for the greater good. Every now and then we run into a reminder of why it's important though. I listened to a radio spot where the DJ was making comments about stoners and the reasons why society never seems to be exposed to anything but the white guy with dreads doing pulls on a joint in front of the cops on 4/20. It's because all of the good stoners stay home and keep it to themselves. So why should we be surprised when a murdering psychopath who just so happened to play World of Warcraft and Call of Duty makes the headlines for using games to train him to kill? Where is the outrage from millions of gamers at being branded like this because of one person? Where are all of the good people of concience? We suffer from the same problem as the stoners. Gamers, that's YOU, the good ones at least, stay home so there are limited chances for the rest of society to see the good ones. Gaming is the new rock music that is going to corrupt the youth or so we're told. An idea so utterly absurd because when it comes right down to it kids who want to be corrupted will be and they'll find whatever avenue they want for that to happen. The rest of us don't need to be punished for it.
