Factorio 0.18 Megabase 20
2Here is the next Factorio episode! In it we finish cleaning up after the power issues last time and get the new outpost factory running.
We start off finishing up fixing the power issues from last time, by completing the build of two of three new nuclear reactors we put blueprints down for last episode. This is done in a time lapse. We made a few tweaks to the kickstarter factory to help build the power plants faster.
With the power issues mostly fixed, we go on to set up the outpost factory. We did finish building it, but we now have to set up all the trains to bring materials to the factory so that it can run. In particular, this factory needs a lot of iron, so we set up two different set of trains, one going to one set of mines and a second going to a different set of mines.
We set up all the trains, and get them running. However, we quickly find a few issues. The closest iron mine doesn't have space for waiting trains, so it causes a back up on the main line that we have to fix. We also find that the uranium trains aren't really set up correctly and I have to adjust their rules for leaving the mine.
We do eventually get everything running, but we run out of time to actually use the factory to build an outpost. That will have to wait for the next episode.
