In this Factorio episode, I was supposed to finish up the new outpost builder factory, and start it running and maybe build an outpost with it. But's that's now that happened.

Shortly after starting this episode, I find out our electricity isn't meeting demand. That's bad. With our new walls having flame turrets, it's not as bad as it would have been a few weeks ago when we only had laser defended walls, but it is still bad.

So most of this episode is spend trying to quickly build some more nuclear power. Nuclear power will be able to provide enough power for this new factory, and then some, but it may start to reduce our UPS, the updates per second of the game, so long term we want to switch over to solar power, which is much less UPS intensive. However, we aren't build mass solar and accumulators at the moment.

So most of the episode is spent setting up three more nuclear power plants, with an eventual focus on two of them. I set up additional landfill production as well as production of the components needed for nuclear power.

At the end of the episode, we haven't completed any of the power plants, but we have began to produce power with them, and no longer have a power deficit.


This episode didn't go as planned, and I lost track of how much I recorded, so there are a bunch of small time-lapse sections to skip over boring parts. I'll try to plan better in the future.
