Moving more stuff from the small island to the big one, and rebuilding out the Recycler stacks for the Electromagnetic Science. Putting the least common items in the sorter first helps a bunch with it not getting backed up! Steel seems to be the biggest issue with overproduction since it recycles extremely slowly and isn't used for many recipes that are constantly produced, but I think I have the solution by putting excess into steel chests then recycling those instead.
Low Density Structures on the other hand...yeah they're a complete mess to recycle and they're slow to do so. Even the full recycling overflow stacks can't really keep up with it. Maybe a similar solution to building something that uses them could work, or just even more recyclers, but I'm not super sure. I will say, however, that a train station(s) on a big island is definitely the right play for this planet. Those 30M scrap stacks on the smaller island will last forever, and if you get legendary quality Big Mining Drills, they'll last like 12.5 times as long, so 30M is actually 375M scrap mined, and that's before productivity increases that even more!
