(Factorio 22) Gle-begone (Backlogging 75)
0Gleba Be Gone? Glebegone? Gleba Glee? Gleba Gaiety? Gleba Goner? Yeah, I don't know, what I should've made the title.
Another short session to clean up Gleba a bit and prep for Fulgora, and adding some basic mall necessities. The Gleba station ended up a bit useless, but I'm sure I could find a use for it eventually. I can always just drop everything back down to Gleba after disassembling it for parts. I'm not sure how practical stations are for resources, though. I suppose the first 3 planets have medium asteroid in orbit, unlike Nauvis, so you could spam stations and collect Iron Ore, but it seems like a bit of a hassle.
I will save making the Space Ship Mk 3 until after Fulgora since getting to Aquilo might be a pain. I've automated the Rocket Turrets for that purpose in this episode, though they don't produce especially fast with my current Gleba Setup. Overall though, I had a fun time on Gleba, even if I complained a lot at the beginning. It was less complex than I was making it considering I had robots, though that definitely makes it a bit harder to scale up from now on. I don't have belts in position to get resources where they need right away instead of having to wait for robots to grab it, but I wasn't planning on attempting a megabase anywhere in this playthrough anyways.
Fulgora is coming up next! Might be a bit tricky since space is limited and you can't use robots, or solar, but each planet so far has been a fun challenge in their own way. At the very least, I'm looking forward to a change of scenery.
