Factorio Mega Map #005
3I started a new series with me playing factorio as the new version (0.13) came out. They brought out many improvements with this new version. You see the gameplay at 3x speed so it should not get boring.
And the goal of this new series? I want to build the biggest base with the highest production, the longest railway tracks, the highest energy demand - a mega map.
In this video I improved the productivity of my factory by using fast transport belts. And I also increased the number of assembling machines.
The wall in the south was also finished and I also started to build a wall in the west. After some time I could finish it and so I had a wall with no gaps around my factory.
The next step was to place pumpjacks and oil refineries to produce the different oil products. For example petroleum gas is needed to produce plastic bars and plastic bars are needed to produce advanced circuits.

Factorio is a fantastic game in which you set up your own factory and survive on a far away planet. You need to mine resources and defend against aliens.
The map is infinite just as the factories you can build.
