Factorio Mega Map #012
4I started a new series with me playing factorio as the new version (0.13) came out. They brought out many improvements with this new version. You see the gameplay at 3x speed so it should not get boring.
And the goal of this new series? I want to build the biggest base with the highest production, the longest railway tracks, the highest energy demand - a mega map.
In this video I started with setting up the production line for speed modules 1. The whole production already needed a lot of energy and so more solar panels and accumulators were needed.
Afterwards I began to implement my masterplan. The north will be the place for melting. I set up the first electric furnaces there. Some laser turrets for defending the area were also needed. These laser turrets were already produced automatically.
As I started to produce fast transport belts automatically, more space was needed in the south of the base.
At the end I also produced more iron which was always needed so much. Later all the iron, copper and steel production will be in the north, where the first copper production line was already.

Factorio is a fantastic game in which you set up your own factory and survive on a far away planet. You need to mine resources and defend against aliens.
The map is infinite just as the factories you can build.
