Factorio Mega Map #009
3I started a new series with me playing factorio as the new version (0.13) came out. They brought out many improvements with this new version. You see the gameplay at 3x speed so it should not get boring.
And the goal of this new series? I want to build the biggest base with the highest production, the longest railway tracks, the highest energy demand - a mega map.
In this video I removed one iron production line which was fired by coal. Although I had already some electric furnaces, the iron production was too low. This was because of the slow transport belts I used so I replaced many of them by the fast transport belts (the red ones).
I also fighted some aliens and explored the map. So I started to build a wall uin the north. To defend against the aliens I started to use laser turrets. Unfortunately they are quite epensive and need lots of batteries. And of course they need energy, so I built more solar panels and accumulators.

Factorio is a fantastic game in which you set up your own factory and survive on a far away planet. You need to mine resources and defend against aliens.
The map is infinite just as the factories you can build.
