Feel free to check out the description for my initial thoughts about the game.

Welcome to Game Play. A series, of sorts, where I check out various video games and share the pure gameplay experience with you.

Today we're taking a look at Fallout 3 on the Xbox Series S.

My immediate impressions so far:

Fallout 3 simply looks and plays fantastic on the Xbox Series S. The visuals have been enhanced, the game seems to run quicker and the loading times have been significantly reduced. Originally released on the Xbox 360 all the way back in 2008, I almost felt like playing an entirely new version of it. It didn't exactly feel like a remastered version but certainly an enhanced one. Great stuff!

I did notice the auto HDR not activating, so MIcrosoft must have taken a look at the game and decided that it wasn't producing the desired results with the added HDR. At any rate, Fallout 3 is running and looking much better than before and definitely worth a revisit. At least in my opinion.

If you haven't checked out this classic RPG before, I definitely recommend doing so. It's quite an experience, to be sure.

The game was recorded directly on the console to an external HDD. No postwork has been done.
