2We’ve reached the end of Dante’s perspective in DMC 2, but do NOT fret! We’ll be popping in Disk 2 to experience Lucia’s side of the story next! And guess what? It’s been brought to my attention that if I beat DMC 2 on hard mode, we unlock Trish. So, you better believe that is coming too! 🤗
Now... we HAVE to talk about that final boss because WTF. I died so many times. SO. MANY. TIMES.
Griffon is just as painful here as he was in the first game. The number of times that bird took me out is actually sad. And as you all saw, he nearly got me again even when I finally defeated him!
Then… The Despair Embodied showed up right after Argosax the Chaos?? My heart sank. I would have rage quit if I had to fight both again after dying to Despair. 💀 😭
And honestly? That’s a big reason I loved this game. If this were DMC 1, I’d have to redo both boss fights from scratch. I really hope they kept the auto-save feature in DMC 3 and beyond. 🤞
