At the end of this month Britain will be closing its Wildenrath military housing estate in Germany and handing it over to the authorities there.

Most of the people at the complex on the Dutch border have either been connected to 7Signal Regiment that officially disbanded this summer, or to nearby JHQ Rheindahlen which is also being wound down.

Over the past few months 230 forces families have been gradually moving out.
