Army cutbacks have put into question the future of the only Territorial unit based in Germany. The 56 strong 412 Troop make up the TA contribution to 28 Engineer Regiment, based at Hameln.

But with the regular unit due to be disbanded, the TA solders are worried theirs will then be rebased in Britain making it impossible for most of them to continue to serve.
