In this video, Fernandez Must Die, released in 1988 for the Atari ST by Image Works.
Fernandez is a dictator that has enslaved a country, thanks also to his 8 generals, but Harman doesn't like this situation so he takes his weapons and goes on a quest to kill the 8 generals and Fernandez himself. We take the role of Harman in this Commando-like game were all you have to do is shoot lots of enemies and deliver death and destruction.
The style of Commando-like game is simple but still few games of this genre are well made and FMD is one of them. Graphically detailed, colored and well made, this game sports a huge number of sprites on screen (bullets and enemies) and a good vertical scrolling, with very few slow-downs. The audio is ok and playability is good even if it lacks the multiplayer option that could have added a lot of fun playing FMD with friends.
Here you'll find loading screens and gameplay.

Ps. The "thing" that sometimes I shoot is a graphically bugged missile.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.

Let me know what do you think about the video in the comments below but, most important, Enjoy!!!
