In this video, Frogs, released in 2018 for the Atari ST by Anarcho Ride Laboratories.
Based on Dr. Wuro Industries C-64 game, Frogs has been converted for the Atari ST for all of us to enjoy. There are 3 modes of play: Bug Hunt where you have to catch bugs and reach the score before the others do it, Battle where you have to use your tongue to push the other players into the pond until you reach the score limit and Countdown where you start with a score and subtract one everytime you fall into the pond; the last frog standing wins.
Graphically Frogs is good, colored, it supports the blitter and have many modes, like C-64 graphics or scrolling. The audio takes advantage of STE DMA sounds and sports a very nice tune that fits the game perfectly. It also features digitized sound fx at 12.5KHz stereo. The playability is the strong point of this game because it's addictive and if played with friends it grants lots of funny moments. The game supports MIDI for multiplayer epic fights.
