20In this video, Personal Nightmare, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by Tynesoft / Horror Soft.
Your father, the local vicar is vanished, so you decide to run back to his town "Tynham Cross" to discover what happened. You have booked at the "Dog and Duck", the local hotel/pub that hides a dark secret.
Personal Nightmare is a point and click adventure with a good plot, horror scenes and adult content, graphically well made, with digitized sounds and an adequate user interface.
The only thing I complain is that the game has long loading times and it's on 5 disks and guess what, one of them (the 4th) is not working so I couldn't make a longer video.
Here you'll find digitized intro and gameplay until the game requested faulty disk 4, just a moment before the attack of the vampire that lies in the underground of the cemetery.
All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.
