Tritoch this time around can be decently difficult, but only if you don't bring elemental protection and resistance. There is a part of its AI script which you can somewhat take advantage of, and that's the fact that it always casts Reflect on itself before proceeding to attack you, and it won't attack you on its turn UNLESS it has reflect active. So, if you remove its reflect status before it takes its next turn, Tritoch will cast it again. Rinse and repeat; therefore, we can keep it in a loop, for the most part.

However, you need to bring some elemental protection because Tritoch seems to counter certain attacks with certain elements - at least that's what I was getting out of it. Also, it may counter Dispel with Confuse, so you want to make sure that whoever is on Dispel duty (Tifa, in this case) has either a Griffin Eye or a Reflex Cape for protection. It may also counter Serin's Psionic Wave with Confuse too, so I have Reflect Ring on him for that. We don't want Reflect Ring on Tifa since we need to cast Haste on her in the beginning. Tritoch also absorbs fire, ice and lightning, so you'll want to bring Serin and the Psionic Wave to stick some weaknesses onto him.
