I just realised this but we're pretty much done with the game. After the three maps of Murond in this video, it's the point of no return in Orbonne with 6 or so endgame maps including the final boss. So this challenge should be over very soon.

Murond Holy Place

The first map requires you to rout all the enemies and there are some unusual enemy types here (the usual ones being Knights, Archers and Thieves I guess, and those aren't nearly as easy to deal with as some people like to argue, at least under certain conditions) - 2 Mediators, 2 Geomancers, a Priest and a Summoner. All six are pretty likely to pack something nasty in the form of status moves, so you never know how this map plays out.

The party is divided unto two squads here, and I have a habit of sending Orlandu or Agrias into the one squad that doesn't have Ramza (which is the same one by default in all storyline missions). Agrias would work nicely in either squad though, possibly interrupting a Summoner midcharge and killing him. The Summoner can have some powerful stuff at this point in the game.

Since I have an alternative to Malak/Rafa in Meliadoul now, I choose to use her instead of Rafa (whose unreliable skillset has not been doing me any favours lately, always missing bosses and generic mooks and whatnot). When Meli can target humans and break their armour, she's pretty decent, even without Excalibur.

As you might notice, I begin using Mustadio as my Golem-user instead of Ramza since he has higher HP (doesn't need to sacrifice any by going for a +MA setup) and this also frees up Ramza to Ramuh some enemies immediately. Ramza better learn something like Leviathan or Lich for the final boss, though...

Murond Holy Place II

This one says you should kill Vormav but is in fact over when you bring one of the three to critical. Either one works so spells and skills that target all are good to go (considering I usually don't spend time checking zodiac compat for storyline characters, though Capricorn Ramza's are easy to remember when you keep entering the birthday the game offers you, and Meli also happens to be Capricorn so you don't have to check).

Rafa ends up delivering the final blows surprisingly. Like they say, even a stick will shoot once a year.

Murond Holy Place III

Another assassination map, and if you don't end this quickly you risk having a full party of uncontrollable zombies (108 Gems is mostly speaking suboptimal as far as equipment goes at this point of the game and you just want to maximise your damage output to defeat the boss ASAP).

Even if Dycedarg's Younger Zombie Brother doesn't use Bloodsuck to create a puppet out of someone (he probably doesn't reach anyone on the first turn), he can pull off some mean things like cut people's speed by 3, which the Knight class dreams it could do as an AoE skill.

Zalbag has equipment on, so Meliadoul sees some use yet again, while I choose to not deploy Mustadio because the gunshot damage he inflicts to the boss is laughable. I'd rather gamble it with out Rafa because the reward is high (ending the battle sooner and not dealing with Blood Suck victims disobeying).

So it's the endgame next I suppose? We're about done with the game.
