Cleared in 6 turns (70 total).

First gaiden chapter. Thany promotes on turn 1 here which gives her enough strength/speed/con to double and 2HKO Henning with the Silver Lance. She also gets access to swords, which is important as a weapon triangle alternative to lances and handy against the axe-wielding enemies in the next few chapters. D swords also means Armorslayer access against otherwise really sturdy bosses later on. I don't think I'm reaching C swords for Killing Edge anytime soon for it to matter, though (I'm also not sure if I'll have the space to shop for Killer Lances in Miledy's join map). Iron Sword also happens to be the only weapon that doesn't weigh Thany down besides Slim Lance.

The plan is simple - Thany uses her flight as an advantage to cross the lava and ferry Roy towards the boss. When weighed down by Roy, she gets doubled and quickly killed by some of the enemies (with a Javelin anyway) so Roy needs to run around a bit until the enemies suicide unto him and Thany. Archers still prioritise Thany over Roy because of her bow weakness.

Meanwhile, the rest of my party stays close to the starting point and faces the enemies that arrive for experience. For some reason, the enemy levels went down compared to the previous chapter which is both a good and a bad thing. Good because they're easier to deal with, bad because we get less experience out of it.

I focus much of the experience gain to raise Lilina and Sue, Lilina gaining exp at a particularly fast pace. She levels up twice and is very close to another level-up, which will most likely happen next chapter. Sue got strength on her only level-up, which is the one offensive stat she could use more of.

I don't focus on Wendy and Dorothy much at all, as I've more or less decided that I won't be using them longterm. Instapromoted Sniper Dorothy is viable I guess, but I will have a much better Igrene shortly so it's questionable just how many bow users I will need. Wendy is just bad with her poor bases and crap movement.

Oh yeah, Lilina needs to spend just one turn next to Roy so that the two can activate their C level support, giving the two some atk, hit (not too useful) and crit when in range. This happens on turn 1, and I'll probably get to activate the support during the next chapter. B is not impossible during this playthrough, even with Roy usually following Thany in this game's seize maps. I have no clue if Roy C Thany is ever happening with them spending so much time together - they need like 59 turns adjacent (or Thany holding Roy also works) to unlock their basic support. It could happen some time later I guess.

We get the Durandal for completing the map, our first legendary weapon. Without Rutger, nobody can use the sword and I wonder if anyone ever will (depends on whether Fir is trained longterm I suppose).
