In this video I give you guys a battle plan for the FFXIV Open Beta & Early Access. This guide is aimed at people that can only spend a few hours a day on the open beta but still want to use their time intelligently to get the most out of it.

Main Goal: Level your main class as high as possible (20) using only story quests, side quests and your class hunting logs.

If you want to powerlevel you can join an XP chaining party.

Save you leve allowances for leveling another class or for the grand company leves.
- These will accrue in the downtime between open beta and early access as well

Save your guildhests for alternate classes you plan on leveling.

Once you join your grand company at level 20 your first priority should be to get 1000 seals to unlock your chocobo mount.
- trade in dungeoun gear to the GC quartermaster
- GC leves

As you travel around make sure you grab as many aetherytes as you can.

Log off in any sanctuary so that you accrue the rested XP bonus inthe downtime.
- Inn Room
- Aetheryte sanctuaries outside of the main cities
- You can tell when you are in one by the little moon symbol near your XP bar.
