4For Intergalactic Shmuppreciation Month 2010, this is Fighting Hawk, a not very well known shmup from 1988, made by Taito and rather similar to the Shark series that they made, except this game is rather a lot easier!
You can get about 8 extends throughout the game (even more if you milk!) and then you get a few more at the end of the game! Great :D
This game is really easy, and it does not punish you much if you get hit, as you have so many lives to spare so you can get very far without trying.
Here I have cleared the entire game without getting hit... this is a much harder task, as you get tanks and planes coming from behind a lot in this game. You also get helicopters coming at weird angles, starting very low on the screen, but this is near to the end of the game.
