Final Fantasy 1 Randomizer is my favorite randomizer of any single one that I've played. Every run feels very different, and it's never just a game of "did I check X location first or Y location first." There is always new danger around the corner, and potential exciting treasures off the beaten path. It's a game I've streamed and raced quite a lot of, and I'm happy to share it here today because the 2021 Spring Tournament is approaching quickly and now is a great time to join the FF1R fun. Lots of people on the discord are ready and excited to help you get your feet wet in the "Duckling" program. Plus, you get to recapture some of the joy from the old NES days without all of the bugs (which ave been fixed).

In this stream I talk about the POD flags for the first part of the FF1R Spring Tournament as well as go over some new aspects of the v4.1.3 Randomizer for people who may be familiar but haven't looked in awhile. Then we dive into the Community Async posted on 3/18/2021, where I walk and talk at the same time, explaining the randomizer and hopefully answering questions without bumping into too many walls.
